The Clash of the "Oh Yes" and the "Oh No"

"Oh No" was my mother's reaction when she found out that, cricket is now going to be all year round and to add to her misery there are more channels being added that will show cricket broadcasts through out the day. The "Oh yes" Hallelujah moment was for my father who was more than happy with this latest development.

There is so much money involved with this game. These players are being paid in crores and now they want to be paid in tens of crores. With the creation of clubs like the "Delhi Jets" and so on so forth, the game will soon become all the more commercial (not that it isnt at present). None of these players will be playing for the love of the game, but for the amount of money they can make by hitting a six "sixes" or the number of endorsements they will get.

Soon there will be buying and selling of players like they are commodities and people from all over will come and join these clubs and leading the race is Marvin Attapattu (that Sri Lankan player) who realised that this is where the money is at.
Mark my words this will soon happen....Just give it time.

Anyway the only development in my world is that I have finished only one of my five exams as of today. Today's paper was my favourite.... Competency mapping (who am I kidding...I despise the subject) . My friend Kenneth told me something that stuck with me through the day, which was that in this subject, you think lots and write little, unlike other papers where you think little and write lots (of gas...mostly ).
